THE ART OF GIVING...!!

It was not just a "Title", but the activity performed by "THE HIMALAYA DRUG CO."

50 winter blankets were donated to the orphans at AABASAHEB TUPE'S HOME FOR ORPHANS well known as "DHARMAVEER SHAMBHU RAJE ANATHALAYA".

For the very first time I was visiting an orphanage, I reached there, I saw the children's & I saw a big smile on everyone's face.

That made me feel like what more is needed in life..??

Can you imagine your life without your parents..?? The answer will be absolutely NO.

Let just stop imagining, the 110 small children's living in an orphanage were actually living their life without their parents.

That time I really imagined myself as an orphan, after which I........

Just Imagine yourself as an Orphan, you will get the answer yourself, you will understand better what I am supposed to say.

See that baby in pink dress, It was first time I was meeting her and I just called her to have a photograph & the happiness is in front of you.

This was the time I realized that when you do things/acts to make others happy, the same comes back to you in another way called PEACE.

In the previous blog I had said that people are really good at heart & the real example of this is in front of you.(The one wearing the blue shirt in photograph)

A person with golden heart & pure soul, down to earth personality I had ever seen.

Have you seen any corporator living with such attributes, down to earth..?

He is the person who is running the orphanage. Not only the orphanage but also the Old Age Home and the "Gourakshan".

We are continuing our life to earn money but this man is earning something greater than money & that's "blessings".

I asked one of them whether she knew the alphabets & within few seconds she started saying A,B,C,D..........,& the another cute little girl started teaching me about maths. That was really a special moment for me. Even knowing everything I kept quiet & was listening to the child who was  trying to make me understand maths.

The way they were studying sitting together on a ground made me realize that nothing matters when one really wants to study with full of his heart, no library is necessary & even no silence is necessary if one really wants to explore new things. These small children's have taught me a lot of things.

 The way they use to Play..!

In present scenario, where PSP's, iPads, Laptops and internet have became necessary part of children's, I think these children's might be experiencing the real enjoyment with nature....!! (the photographs describes it all)

Mr.Sinha (Gen. Manager, HDC) with full of his love and emotions said such things that really touched my heart.

Sinha sir said:-

"Pranav Mukherjee kehte hai ki unhe hindustan baccho me dikhai deta hai; aur aaj waisehi in baccho me mujhe hindustan dikhai de raha hai.

Aabasaheb jo kaam kar rahe hai, waisa kaam har koi toh nhi karta, lekin ye bacche aage badh kar aabasaheb se prerit hokar unhi ki tarah samaj ke liye kuch accha karenge".

That means if today only one man is doing something for the society, tomorrow 100 of their children's will be continuing the same good work.

I sincerely thank our respected business director Mr. Anil Jaindani Sir, who had suggested the idea of "THE ART OF GIVING".

I heartily want to thank Mr.Philip Haydon Sir (CEO, The Himalaya Drug Co.) for the overwhelming initiative all over India.

I would like to make a request to all of you, kindly help them to have a better life, kindly visit them to make them happy, kindly love them so that they would never feel alone in the world, kindly appreciate them so they keep learning good things.

The above quote means a lot. we can't make everyone happy, but everyone can make at-least someone happy..!! That will make a difference.
